Andrew W. Gordon, Class of 1986My name is Andrew W. Gordon and I graduated Belair in 1986 after 9 years of attendance. I went on to Junior College at Broward Community College where I earned my AA degree with a fellow Belair Alum, Andrew Brooks, who I'm still trying to locate. We then transferred to Florida State where I learned my Bachelor's Degree in Management in 1990.I then went to work for Ross Perot's old company, EDS in Detroit, and then in Fairborn OH. After 5 years of coding and loading, I got tired of the IT business and joined the USAF. I got my 2LT bars from Officer Training School on Sept 22 1995. Three weeks prior to that (Sept 9 1995), my (now ex) wife gave birth to our first child, Elizabeth - she came in at 10lbs 4oz (ouch). My experiences in the USAF were sweet (Maj Nelson I'm sure can testify to that). I did a 100 day tour in the desert during the summer of 1997 (Executive Officer for the 4406th at Al Jaber AB, Kuwait), played war games with the Army at Folk Polk, LA, and held several command positions including flight commander for Base Network Operations, and Systems Flight Commander. During my stay at Barksdale AFB, I earned my MBA. I transferred to the Material Systems Group at Wright Patterson AFB in 1998. During my tour at WPAFB, I completed the coursework for a PH.D in information systems. Since the Air Force did not give me enough opportunities to advance my IT skills and knowledge, I went off active duty during November 2000. I then went to work for Anderson Consulting (now re-branded as Accenture) as a Senior Consultant. I bought my first home in Columbus, OH, and I'm now staffed on a project back in Dayton where our client is, coincidentally, the Material Systems Group. Thats all I have for now...... Andrew W. Karen (Anderson) Mullings, Class of 1974Karen wrote in to tell us that her picture in the 1974 yearbook was captioned "Who?" Well we fixed that. Karen (see Seniors '74 class picture in the online yearbooks). But the Karen Anderson of 1974 is the Karen Mullins of 2001. Say "hello" to Karen .Karen Mullins - Class of 1974 kmullins@tribune.com
Debbie Tucker NicholsMy name is Debbie Tucker Nichols and I went to Belair in 1974-75 (9th and 10th grade). I graduated from O. Perry Walker High School in New Orleans (1977). I then graduated from L.S.U. and married Mark Nichols in 1981. We owned Frame City and Art Gallery in New Orleans for 10 years. Mark then took a new job with Larson-Juhl, which took us first to Atlanta, then Houston, where we have been living for the past 9 years. We have 2 boys, Trevor, age 13 and Taylor, age 11.I think this is a great idea--thanks for putting it together. If I get a chance I will send pictures. Good luck!"
